SEPTARIA

Septaria cut in two from Oujda in Morocco. This is a nodule in limestone structure as found in the marl or clay layers. Into the slots crystallized calcite. Dimensions approximately 3x2.5 cm. Weight 23 gr.

Part of a nodule of septaria from Drôme in France. The interior is covered with crystals of brown calcite with transparent quartz diamond. Structure formed in limestone marl gray. Dimensions 6x4x4 cm. Weight 147 gr.
