Nodule of obsidian Apache tear from Arizona. Unpolished natural stone. Dimensions approximately 3x2.5 cm. Photo no contractual. Stone of protection. Legend says that a tribe of Indians was attacked by the white soldiers. Apache men tried to save their families and their property, but before the defeat, they all preferred to jump off of the creek rather than surrender. The soldiers turned around and lost their lives to save women and children. Legend has it that the tears shed by wives turned into stone teardrop to enable them to maintain contact with the spirits of their dead husbands.

Gilded obsidian cabochon from Mexico. This is the only known deposit in the world and is rapidly depleted. The golden reflected lights are due to micro-bubbles of gas or water emitted by water vapor when the magma is contacted with water. Diameter of 30 mm cabochon. Weight 13 gr.

Obsidian celestial eye from Mexico. We know only one deposit in the world in the mountains sacred and difficult to access. Extra quality samples have become very rare. Mines are depleted. Dimensions 22x27 mm. Weight of obsidian celestial eye 6 gr.

Obsidian Mentogochole from Mexico. The only known mine is lost in the mountains and difficult to access. Extra quality is low. This small pebble is polished, rounded on one side. In Mexico it is called Manta Huichol. This is a variety of celestial eye but the strata are mixed and concentric circles disappeared. Dimensions 28x22 mm. Weight obsidenne mentogochole 5 gr.
